is megs bp necessary for 3 inch mf cutting pads

was thinkin of pickin up some mf da spot pads but was wondering if i need there bp for this? i already have a regular not megs bp for the lc pads

You need a 3" or smaller backing plate for these pads. Most likely the backing plate you have is 3 1/2". You will not want your backing plate to be larger than the pad, that's asking for trouble.

you are correct sir-thanks for pointing that out-now i have to ask myself how bad do i really want those pads-didnt really want to fork out another 25 bucks for the bp
