Guys,
I did some work on my website by using many of you all suggestions. Let me know what I can do to improve the site. I am looking to open a fixed location detailing shop in a week or two. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for all the help,
Derrick

Congratulations, website looks great.

I guess I would say no. Only because there is no link to see it.

Click on my name then click "Visit Derrick's homepage!"

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks Again,
Derrick

Is there a way to make it bigger. For me, it's a little small w/a widescreen monitor. One other thing. Maybe make the font bigger. The Bold letters for the tilte are fine, the description is a little hard on the eyes. Other than that, it looks great. It's good that you didn't put a total price for paint correction. The descriptions for your packages describe them well.

Maybe a option for higher end products. But, you would need to desribe the differences for that.

I would suggest losing the "table" format as you are confined to typing in boxes... If, you do use boxes, you must add enough padding around your words... ( space between the words, and the boxes...) or it becomes very difficult to read... example the services page is too crowded, even when you expand the window, the page does not expand... also if you use the table format, at least change the style from page to page, it appears that you are just filling in the spaces... your website should reflect you and your work, not your work, fitting into the pre-made space... Remember... first impressions are huge in this business... I think the front page is too busy, with too much information, your logo and a photo of a beautiful car, will "invite" potential customers to look further... just a thought...

need to fix: Will work to give YOUR (not you )car

in the first little paragraph, It says does your paint look kind of bad? I might be being to picky but i think you should rephrase that. It just doesnt sound right to me

Good, but when I got to the front page, I didn't know where to start reading, :iagree: with the guys when they say it's too busy.

Maybe you could save the front page for a couple of pictures of nice cars and some links to your other pages and a big link that says "introduction" which is a link to a page where you can put the stuff that is currently on your front page.

just my .02c ^_^Y

Loudog2,
I am going to have to reword the service page to make room to increase the font size or I will make a link to a printable pdf file with all the services listed. I think that will work.

Smalltrees,
Thanks for the info. I will change the front page after I open. It will be a car that I complete in the new building. The column on the right side of the homepage will have a before and after picture of a old car I will work on. As far as the tables go, I might be able to change them some. I piddle around with it some and see.

Dlt21,
Thanks for proofreading it for me. Fixed it really quick!

maddenbowler,
Let me know how it sounds now. It might still sound a little goofy but hopefully it's better.

Matt,
The right column will be totally redone with a picture or a couple of pictures of a car and a caption.

yeah that sounds better. But other than that your site was easy to navigate and I could find everything i wanted rather quickly. So good job.

o and maybe add an address or at least the city your located in. If i do a google search and find your site I'm not going to bother calling unless I know your rather close to me. So knowing where your located will help

Overall, I like the website a lot, but I agree that the homepage is a bit too wordy. I'm not crazy about the slogan, either. "If it doesn't shine, we didn't do it!" can be misunderstood in different ways.
