Is the $130 round boars hair brush worth the cost?

I have been weekly washing with the two bucket method with chenille wash mitts on three family cars. But constantly bending over is taking a toll on my back. Has anyone tried the Montana round boars hair brush with wand? I saw Mike Phillips using it on one of the videos but a review on Amazon said the brush caused scratches and the wand was cheaply made. Is there another wand brush you recommend that is safe on clearcoat?

That's a lot of money for a brush. WOW! Does it wash the car by itself? :doh:

Just get the 10" brush - it's about $70. It doesn't scratch if you use it correctly. Ask me how I know. The pole AG sells breaks at the threads. Just get any painters pole or a broom handle with threads.

Wheel brush would be fantastic if it had more bristles, for me I want a thicker brush for the money.

Plus it's too soft to clean wheels.

That's what I did. I got the $70 10" brush and got the pole at HD. It's an adjustable extension pole with foam handle and metal screw tip. I can do the car faster with less bending over. For me, it makes washing the car more pleasurable and less tedious.

Be sure to let the brush soak in your soap bucket for a few minutes before using to soften the bristles.

If you have a flat drive way it works fine. 80 lbs. gets a little heavy. Even with locking wheels it's a pain on a sloped drive way.
