Blackfire, Griot's, MF Restore, Pinnacle. Is there really a difference between them? Has anyone tried more than one?

Good question! I use Pinnacle, Blackfire and DP. I've been trying to pick one of the three but they all perform very well. I just use the first one I put my hands on.

People seem to like Blackfire the best. I have switched over from Micro-Restore based on all the positive reviews. I really like it!

blackfire is the best, but I now use cg as it is cheaper and nearly as good. Those are the only two that I have tried. Costco kirkland liquid detergent in the white jug with the yellow tip is pretty good too.

I've been using CG with no desire to change. It does the job well and everything I need it to.

I really like the Blackfire and the built-in measuring container makes it very easy to use. When it goes on BOGO it is a very nice deal.

I just use the same home made laundry detergent I use on my clothes(Washing Soda, laundry soap, and borax). Works every bit as well as these expensive cleaners, IMO, and only costs $0.03 a load.

I use a laundry detergent with no die, no perfume etc and a cup of distilled white vinegar for daily washing. Only using a MF detergent once a week. When you go thru towels like I do it gets expensive to use the MF detergent, but they are absolutly worth it. I have as much invested in towels around teh shop as I do buffers, probably more.

I've used Griot's, Chemical Guys and BlackFire. I like the BlackFire the best but they all do a good job. The other day I used ALL "Clear" detergent and the towels came out just fine. Soap is the killer of microfiber towels and the dedicated cleaners contain less soap than a normal detergent but have other cleaners to boost cleaning power. I assume they also contain some microfiber conditioners. I always have a bucket of hot water and a scoop of Oxi-Clean to toss my towels in for a good soak during each wash or detail in order to help fight stains. I think from now on I will wash my very best towels in the microfiber cleaner and the rest in ALL "Clear". Either way, a little vinegar in the extra rinse cycle will help remove all the soap.

Many believe they do but there are some that do not.

I do prefer it over a regular detergent. The best way is to spend a few dollars (sometime to add to an order to get to free shipping or something) and try it for yourself a few times to decide for yourself.
