Is there a sealant like product for black plastic. Rear truck bumpers, running boards, etc.

tried a lot of "back to black" type trim products over the years. Many do a good job of cleaning and providing temporary shine. I recently bought some wolfgang (WETS) and I will never look back. It's pricey, but as others mentioned a little really does go a long way. I haven't tried all the products mentioned here, but for me it's the one that comes the closest to actually providing a shell of protection vs the ones that just add some temporary shine.

I like McKees Plastic Trim Restorer.

It is very similar to, and just as good as WETS, but has a better price point.

It does have more of a darkening effect on older trim than WETS does, and it works great on new trim. It’s not just for restoring.

Both are easy to apply and plastics won’t look worse once it past its life.

Some of these coatings can be a pain to apply and I believe some can look bad(possibly if over applied) at the end of their life.

^^This^^

I am getting at least 12 weeks of protection with McKee's Trim Restore. Love the deep, not-to-shiny black it leaves the trim, too.

I have tried WETS, and love it as well. But with my wife owning a Wrangler, I'd have to sell a kidney to keep using it. Lol

JK, but as you said: McKee's is a much better price point.

Tire and trim coatings have saved me so much time it's ridiculous!!!! I get about 6 months out of my tire coating and well over a year out of my trim coating. Pretty amazing since I live in Michigan. I'm still using my very limited supply of the discontinued TW products.

I've not used it, but on CarPro's web page for DLUX, they imply it can be used on interior ... note the # INTERIOR.

CQUARTZ DLUX |

To be safe, I'd contact them for more info/recommendations.

If it is hard plastic then use. On vinyl stick with their cquartz leather.
