Is there any hope to pretty up the paint on this '89 Eldorado?

When her Deville got overheated, we picked this up for my daughter. Mechanically, it's sound, and our own mechanic knows the car.

The sun, however, has not been good to the paint:

or the vinyl:

She'll probably be in it for a year or two while she saves up for something else--but it will likely be parted in front of *my* house for that time . . .

Is there anything to do, other then spending thousands on paint & vinyl, to "deuglify" it? (Even if the fix only lasts a couple of years).

The paint seems to have separated into little islands, while the vinyl looks like someone haphazardly wiped it with a bleach solution . . .

In the long term, maybe I'd paint it and add it to my own collection (hey, my other Eldorado are both white!), but for now, a bit less ugly would help . . .

Go to MAACO, before someone in your neighborhood calls the abandon vehicle department. J/k
