:iagree: If we were talking high school a 91 would be great, but with EBAY it equals a 69....does this make any sense to anyone but me?!?!?!?!?

I've been burned by an ebay purchase too and it was weeks to get a refund (less shipping) and I had to get authenticity opinion letters etc. Seller even closed his account once it looked like the dispute process was not going to go his way.
 
I've bought a lot of stuff off of Ebay for cheap (all new).

Things you learn as you purchase more stuff from Ebay and Sell on Ebay is to

- READ THE DESCRIPTION!
- After reading ask the SELLER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS!

If it's not in the description ask the question. If seller sounds like he doesn't wanna answer your question with a straight answer beware and tread with caution.

If I needed another polisher right now I would probably put a bid in. Also when you do bid on it think about a max that you're willing to pay on it. Pretty much new that polisher and the pads will be over 400 bucks but right now I probably wouldn't pay over 200~250 for it.
 
Ebay is perfectly fine when you know how to use it. I don't know why it would be one of the top 25 sites to go to if it wasn't successful.

You can also try amazon if you like.

Why is it one of the top sites? As a couple law enforcement friends put it : eBay, America's fence :laughing:.

Hey, I've used it. But, as others have said, you need to be real careful. Mostly I've delt with sellers that are authorized distributors or retailers for the products and are simply trying to get rid of overstock or discontinued. Works great for that. Would I buy used equip? Maybe a name brand socket set or something like that, but def not a power tool with no warranty. You simply don't know how it was used or abused.
 
Sometimes ya just have to have a lil faith. On the face of it, the deal looks pretty good assuming the price doesn't rise much higher. On the other hand, this guys feedback rating is atrocious. I wouldn't even give this listing another look.
 
Didn't notice his feedback. Still its a good deal IMO.
