Is this a nornal feature of Glaze?

Squirted a very small amount of Meg's #7 onto the top of my Kaw gastank...

It hit the tank & promptly slide off the side onto the floor..:laughing:

It left no trace behind on the gas tank at all...
 
I think ya may be right about the mineral oil.
 
I don't think #7 is a "normal" glaze.

I've never used #7, but other glazes I've used like Poorboys Black Hole or Prima Amigo both apply like a sealant.
 
Back in the single stage paint days, glazes were oily and shined up the paint. The modern glazes are more like a concealing sealant.
 
I thought it was pretty funny. My first thought was "ok, I guess the paint IS slick"
