They will even UPS you a certified check. Which of course the check is fake, but looks real in all respect.

When I get requests that make my spider sense go crazy, I tend to avoid taking an appointment.

Latelly I have been getting a lot of calls from out of country. I simply no longer answer them. If they are legit, they can always leave a message and I will decide what to do based on what they say in their message. But none of them leave messages. There are so many phone scams going on right now, it's crazy. My new phone has a software that tells me when a phone number is suspect, it will show as a red page saying this number maybe be from a scammer or a telemarketer... and it shows up pretty often.
 
Definitely a scam. Not the first time this exact scenario has been posted.
 
So here is how the rest of this text went:

+15512093246 - i bank with 2 banks
+15512093246 - so i have one visa card and one master card for the other
Me: Send me your card number and I'll process them giving you a transaction number
+15512093246 - Do you understand that you will be running through my card the total sum of $ 2150 so once the funds hit into your account you will deduct $900 as your service fee and also deduct $50 as a tip while you help me send the remaining $1200 to the shipper uy via bank cash deposit
Me: Yes. I'll wait for it to clear my bank First. Then I'll provided your driver with a cashier check for $1200
+15512093246 - Okay before we proceed i will like to know the name of the credit card merchant processor you will use in running through my card and also how many days will the funds take to hit into your account
Me: I use squareup
Me: It takes about 2 to 3 days for the funds to hit my account
+15512093246 - have used square once and i was double charged and the funds was not referred back so my broker told me not to use square or paypal on my credit card so if you have another merchant please let me know
+15512093246 - Am sorry i cannot use square on my credit card
Me: I do not do business with someone who wants to Scam me.

Me: You do. Your a Scammer
Me: You don't even know what City or State I live in or what's at the address I sent you (local police)
Me: Can you not find an honest job? Or is the only job you can find is a low life scammer? Must be hard to be a scammer like you. Hard to find that next dollar that you have stolen from someone that earned it the honest way. My guess is your parents don't even know what you do or are ashamed of you

Me: The Scam is that you send me a fake check and I send you real money order.
Me: And no truck bring cars to be detailed.
Me: Shame on you.
Me: I'm a honest detailer who only detail cars that belong to honest hard working people.
Me: Too scared to text back or on to your next scam?

Thats the last texts I have gotten and sent. My guess I will not be getting anymore from this guy.

That's great. Reminds me of the guy that kept the IRS scammer on the phone for about 30 minutes jerking him around the whole time. I'm sure most saw that one on FB
 
just form the OP's first post I thought scam. changed the number of cars frequently and used the term "for a grand total of" throughout the conversation. spells computer generated conversation to me.
 
Definitely a scam. I get these from time to time, too. Always the same format and always ask about using a credit card.
