just got PPF put on and when I got home I noticed this. i know PPF won't be 100% though

I would say yes it is acceptable. It is super noticeable on your car since it is dark. It's very hard to apply PPF and window tint without getting at least some spec of something behind it. My window tint has some fuzz behind it and it bothered me at first, but I have learned to live with it. It is the same feeling as when you see the first paint chip or scratch on your car.

does it make a difference if it's a piece of grass? it looks like it anyway. about about 3-4 mm. it's on the top of the fender

If it is grass I would be questioning it. I don't know why someone would be applying PPF outside or in an environment where grass could be blown into it.

i just called and they said they will replace it without any question. great place!

Glad they agreed to fix the problem. I couldn't stand it if it were my car.
