Just ordered DLUX from autogeek and opened the box today...

Seems like a manufacture date and expiration date.

Granted, I'm only a month past the expiration date, but I planned to use this tomorrow morning on a Honda Element.

Is it safe to use it?

This stuff is too expensive to throw away!

Probably right but in theory it could be year-month-date and was sitting in a warehouse for a while. It's ambiguous. Just the fact that two people can interpret it differently says it's a crappy label.
Luckily, in 16 years there won't be this problem, for another 84 years ;o)

the label isn't crappy. most of the world uses the day/month/year format.

thus, that product clearly "expires" June 14th, 2016.

you're fine.

What you can't see clearly in the picture is that in the red band in the middle on the left it says "Pr" (for produced) with an arrow pointing to the top date, and on the right it says "Ex" (for expiration) pointing to the bottom date. It's not the best label but there's really not any question about what it means (especially since the seal on the box shows the year of mfr.).

Yep, and one number being the 15th and the other being a 14th suggest it is valid for 365 days.
