is this enough light?

I'm in wally world right now and am about to buy a 500 watt halogen worklight to help me see swrils when polishing. My question is, will this be enough light to see em? Fast responses are welcome since I'm in the store right now.

it will be good enough to start with. you will just have to move alot

I would go with a 1000 watt if they have it.
