Is this normal for a PC 7424xp?

I might have a similar problem. Just the weight of my hand is enough pressure. If I press down any, then the pad rotation slows down. I used a speed of 5 for M105, speed of 4 for M205 and speed of 4 for Powerlock for LPA. 5.5" LC pads.

It is interesting to read that too little pressure can cause the pad to stop spinning too.

There is so much amazing info on this website that I wish I would have trolled for several months before making "any" purchases. I love my PC but I may have stepped up right from the get-go. Now i need to practice, practice, practice. But Mike is such an amazing sales person, as is his AG team, I feel like I "need" everything yesterday, haha.

Yep, the dual action requires pressure to work, it really is a skill that just requires you to use it for hours to get used to it and comfortable with it. Just remember technique trumps product, a PC 7424 can do as roughly good of a job as any DA polisher.
