Is this ppf film done right?

I got a ppf on my new car and was wondering if they filmed my car right. My car looks flawless, 0 rock chips but only rock chips in the inner paint fender. Is the film suppose to stretch around the edge in to the inner fender? The film stops at the end of the panel but does not wrap around the edge. Here is a picture of what I am talking about. Is there any other option in protecting the thin strip of paint from rock chips?
 
That looks about right. Seen these on high end factory applications.

Thanks Tom for the reply! So there is nothing I can do for the small thin of paint that is vulnerable to rock chips? I got tons of rock chips on the paint already and worried that after a couple of months, the whole strip will be discolored from chips ;(.
 
I think it varies based on installer. It's certainly more difficult (and expensive) to wrap in that scenario. I just got some new film installed, and on the fenders and hood, they wrap it around, but on the bumper, which looks like your pic, they just went to the edge. I think it's a degree of difficulty thing.

Maybe you could apply a coating there for some extra protection.
 
It is up to you and the installer. I always specify I want the PPF wrapped around all edges. It is not a big deal or a challenge for an experienced installer.
 
I'm not an expert, but I'd expect it not to wrap if they're using computer cut templates. If this is a dealer installed wrap that's highly likely.
