Is Tire Dressing needed?

Any thoughts on Poorboy's World Bold N Bright Tire Dressing to serve as cleaner and dressing?

Lately I find that I use this product more frequently than the others I own.
It does not sling and leaves a very nice finish that is not too shiny.
The cleaners in the product really seem to help achieve very nice looking tires and wheel wells.

Sling refers to the tire dressing transfer to body panels of the vehicle when in motion.

call me crazy,but I worked with a guy that used black shoe polish on his tires . He applied it and polished them like you would a shoe , the tires looked great . I don't know how often he applied it to the tires and I don't know if it had any ill effects to the rubber on the tires but hey everybody does things different. I personally think he was nuts ,lol
