It's A Foam Party!!!

Alex, I think I am going to have to do another shot at some Foam pics tomorrow. I just washed the truck today but I think I thought of one that will be pretty cool if it works. I will not let the cat out of the bag just yet, but if it works it will be fricken' awesome. I just really need to watch hitting the wheels as I have a little comparison going on right now and I do not want to screw them up. Maybe I will wait for next week to do the shot. I dunno we will see.

I want to see some other people throw up their pics too though. I think this is a really cool thread and I KNOW others have foam cannons as well.

Can't wait to see the pic...not sure if you can top the one you already posted and that thing looks like a frosting covered car LOL!!!

^^ lol I dunno. I think yours look better then mine. I really like your close ups and that back window looks nasty thick.

I might actually need my neighbor for assistance lol. Like I said we will see, it could be a total flop and not work as well as it does in my head lol. I am going to hold off for it till next week though. I should be able to do it Wednesday next week, thats my plan. If I am not too hung over from the wedding on Tuesday lol.

Cool thread Alex! :righton:

Looks like I've found another way to make the neighbors mad.:D

Time to add one to the list ...

^ It was a white car. LOL

Most of the time I use Meguair's Hyper wash.

I figured it was white, but maybe thats what gives the illusion but man it looks like its really thick. what ratio or what amount of soap do you use in your cannon?

I put about 4 oz and fill it little above half. The Hyper wash give it a very good foam. I haven't used the DP extreme foam yet, but seen some thick foam with it.

AWESOME Foam pics guys!!! Keep them rollin in!!!

Hey Nick...nice pics man...thanks for posting. I suspect that there will be an increase in foam cannon and foam shampoo purchases here soon. You have me and Marc's shipping address so feel free to send us some stuff!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! :dblthumb2: :buffing: Im the MAN:cruisin::autowash::awesome:

There is one other fun thing you can do with your foam cannon that isn't auto related.

Fill it up with baby shampoo and blast your kids with it. Won't burn their eyes and they have so much fun playing in it. Plus it makes their Slip&Slide dangerously slippy.

:bump2: anyone got anymore good foam pics?!

Those are some awesome pictures! I love the idea of a foam gun. I didn't at first but after reading more about them and seeing pictures it looks like a ton of fun.

Is the quart sized foam gun large enough to do a single car in one pass? I've got to get me one of these things.

Oh yeah...its more than enough. Its enough to cover 2 or even 3 mid size sedans. I'd say about 2 suv's.

IMO...foaming a vehicle followed by a two bucket wash method really allows for a safer cleaning. Maybe thats just in my head, but I feel its worth the $42 I spent on my foam cannon.

I won't be getting the cannon as I don't have a pressure washer (nor do I want one at this time), but the foam gun looks like it works well too.

Do you really need the two bucket method if you're foaming? Couldn't just the rinse bucket and a grit guard work as well? Is that just an "extra" careful thing?

all the grill shots of foamed up cars look like Megatron from the Transformers Movie
