It's A Foam Party!!!

I think many people agree that maxi suds gives you some of the best suds you can get and at an EXTREMELY reasonable price :xyxthumbs:

Plus it's formulated to shoot out a foam cannon.

Great response! Whats your ratio 3:1 as well?

Thanks for the response ARizzle!!

No problem. Hopefully, I helped...The Karcher one from Costco is around $200, electrical, and 2000 psi which I like, plus it is works with the foam guns offered here at AG. Only problem is it's not very portable...the wheels don't really spin/work well.

My question also is does the amount of PSI affect the amount of foam produced (all variables remain constant-like dilution ratio, etc.) ??

I'm not too concerned with the portability. Should be able to slide around the car. I looked at one that puts out 1800 psi. Would that still get a good foam coating? I guess there has to be some correlation of psi to soap/water in the container.

Yes! The one I have is 1600 psi or 1400 can't remember. And 1.4 gpm. I have noticed that my foam is much lower than others using the same dilution and same product.

Higher PSI and GPM will mean better foam. However, the higher you go, the easier it becomes to damage to the paint. In hindsight, I think 2000 PSI would be perfect. 1400 or 1600 PSI (whichever I have) is not the foam I would want it to be.

I also use the MTM hydro, so I'm using the same foam cannon most use too

Well I guess you know what that means...time to start budgeting for a 2000 psi washer  :xyxthumbs:

HI,

I was reading the CONS and PROS about the Karcher pressure washer from Costco selling it around $200, electrical, and 2000 psi and before purchasing it I want to make sure it's not a piece of junk.I've read several negative comments about this unit. Another store too had negative feedbacks. Karcher X-Series 2000 PSI Electric Pressure Washer | Canadian Tire

I am really confused and would appreciate advices from owners working with this pressure washer.Apparently the company does not support its product. Is it true or false a six millions question?

Johny

Great question Johny,
For the price, I couldn't say no, however, I did notice a few things I didn't like about it.

1st and most important being that although it has wheels, the unit as a whole is very difficult to move around. Mainly because its heavy and the wheels are made of plastic.

Other than that the cording is quite long so thats a plus!
