I've seen a major increase in my wash/vacs. Full details are way down. There seems to be more money to me in just doing wass/vacs only but there is no fun or excitement. I have 3 fulls to do tomorrow at a realty office that I just landed. I guess I'll have to dust off the old camera and get my reviews ready!!!!
how many full details can you do in a day?

The most fulls in one day was 3. The Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and Avalanche. About 7 hours. I will be doing the same amount tomorrow.

If was below freezing here yesterday morning. First car was a pain to get done. Sun wasn't up enough to shine on me. I used ONR on the wheels and kept steam on them while I dried them. Heated up some water and went to do the roof and it started freezing. Heated the water up a little hotter and got the sides and hood done with some steaming needed. Cleaned the glass with alcohol. Then had to get the darn roof down (a wagon no less too). Steam and ONR again. Took a few minutes to go back and melt a few drips and dress the tires with a solvent based dressing. On the next cars I got by with just heated water since the sun water shining nicely. Today though darn rain has wrecked the day.

It has been very cold here too. I have still been busy though, I wouldn't mind some time off though, but it doesn't pay well :( Just curious what do you consider to be a full detail?

Hey Justin I have a non-detailing question to ask ya. Your pm's are full can ya pm me an e-mail? Thanks

It blows me a way that you can do 3 full details in 1 day, even when 1 is a big Avalanche! I guess with experience comes efficiency :) .

Anyway, I've been meaning to ask...What do you do in the winter months? Is it consistantly cold where you're at during the winter to where you can't detail for days/weeks at a time?

Being in Indiana, winter sucks for detailing. I'm trying to think of things I would do if I were in your shoes here with bad weather that lasts for 3 months.

By the way, I'm sure the furniture looks spectacular...LOL!

I was tired ....don't get me wrong!
I just setup an assembly line of washing and vacuuming. Easier that way.

Ok it time to admit you have a problem!:D

He has absolutely no problem, last days of christmas break, I discoverd 15 distinct uses of the PC in the house. Put it this way, if it could be sealed, it was sealed, if you could wax it, it was waxed. You could probably slide a penny clear across the house on the floor.. lol

I have 2 twice in my career. Just about killed me.
Normally I only do one and then a couple of wash/vacs. Sometimes 2 at the most.
