It's here and it's on SALE!

I don't think Blacklight is an AIO? I saw a review by Todd saying that it was, but nothing on the chemical guys page does it say AIO, and the description says to layer it 20 minutes apart, I don't think you can layer an AIO since the cleaners would remove the previous layers

That review you mentioned is on that CG page for Blacklight (scroll down), so I would guess that Todd Cooperider's information is accurate :)

I do love the logo...

Finally!

I now have zero reason to make multiple orders.

Hey look, now we can openly discuss Chemical Guys here!!!:awesome:

THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Now I can buy all my supplies at AG. I am very happy to hear that you will be carrying the gallon sizes soon. At first I just saw the 16oz sizes and thought that was neat and all, so I searched for a Chemical Guys thread and found this. I'm a happy camper now!

THANK YOU!

now that AG carries chemical guys, and blackfire, there really isn't much reason to shop elsewhere

well done AG!

great business move, congrats!!!!

That's great news. A BIG Thank You to Autogeek for this gift to all its loyal customers. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs::dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

Can't wait for the Gallon sizes.

Some of my favorites :

Strippers Scent
Honeydew Snow Foam
Hybrid V7
Glossworkz Shampoo
Blacklight
EZ Creme Glaze

Chemical Guys have a LOT of products, we have started with the waxes and the 16oz. bottles, we plan to expand...

Question ?? Will their microfiber towels also be incorporated with the Cobra MF line ???

I hear the exitement...why?
Which products are great in comparison? Any reviews?

A newbie

And so it beings, the great credit card default of our time.
In all seriousness, I wasn't ready for this. I had just assumed that when ACC got CG, that's where we'd get our fix. Can't wait to see all the other products come in from CG!

Also, I know we're still adding products, but I think that the Glossworkz Glaze should be added. Great product, and some people like to go with the Glossworkz shampoo and then to the glaze, seeing as they have the same name.

What a way to kick off 2012 PBMG/AG! I have been wanting to tryout CG and was wondering what was holding up AG from bringing them onboard. When we started hearing about them moving to related companies I knew the time was getting closer. The products that have really been intriguing me is CG's citrus based cleaners and car shampoos. I strive to use products that are intended to be used for vehicle finishes and are from companies in the detailing market that R/D products so that we don't have to risk our finishes to test them.
Great move PBMG/AG! I am sure this will bring you more business/clients and keep some from going elsewhere to get the products they use and love. This really allows me to stay loyal to AG and take advantage of the benefits that AG adds to any product line they carry, i.e. customer service, product knowledge, sales, and BOGO.:D

Like I said, the product description said its a gloss enhancing sealant type. Blacklight has no abrasives, and again like I said, it is recommended 2 layers. You cannot layer a AIO, right?

Trust me, Blacklight HAS abrasives in it.

They suggest a second coat BY HAND only. NOT with a DA. CG also suggests a lot of weird stuff, and say a LOT of crazy crap on there website.

I would trust Todd C. He test for chemical guys and works with there formulators. If he says a CG product is something, you can bet your butt he is correct.

Also, you can see the abrasive powder in the emulsion where it bunch's up when the bottle is shaken. Its the same with all the CG abrasive products.

The vertua-bond is a great paint cleaner IME. I think it has some acrylic sealant properties like there ezcreme glaze. But it gets the paint super clean and degreases very well with the second coat.

Do you know whether vertua bond contains abrasives?

I'm a little disappointed to hear that black light contains some.

All aio's applied by hand on my car give me holograms.

Yep, vertua-bond has light abrasives as well. To be honest with you, I have never had an issue using any CG paint cleaners with light abrasives by hand . Never had an issue with Holograms by hand. If your paint is that delicate you are going to have a problem with almost any product unfortunately.

which AIO's give you hologram problems ? does Optimum's Poli-Seal cause you issue's ? How about Klasse AIO ?

Keep in mind that Blacklight is more of a glaze/sealant. Its just that one of its off label use's can be used "like" an AIO. That doesnt mean its best suited for that IMO. Kind of like a quick detailer that can be used to clean glass. Glass cleaners work better, but you can get away with using a QD in a pinch. You know what I mean ?

first off thanks for your feedback and sharing your knowledge and I am not doubting you but I heard bl has lots of fillers like xmt360, felt bl before and I don't feel anything in it? and how can you tell if it is filling swirls vs correcting them, bl should do a better job at description because sometimes I don't want to use a product with abrasives in it and now I find out bl has it...

also since you said it is an aio, does it also clean paint then? and assuming you want to use it and its a glaze kind of product, you would have to strip everything and then bl > lsp? or can you put bl on top of your already LSP and then done since its a glaze/sealant? or would you still top bl after

Werkstatt prime, xmt360 and Klasse AIO have all given me some micromarring.

I have poli-seal, but have never used it on the car that we are talking about.

Long story short, I wanted to know what product I was dealing with so I asked a CG rep directly, is BL an All in One? He said, "Blacklight is not an AIO, you still need to prep surface"
