be prepared for all your family to look at you strangely from now on :)

Tell me about it, my wife was already looking at me weird when I posted the pictures...I can just imagine what's going on in her head. Something among the lines of "..great first the car, now the forums..." hahaha

Surfer,
I've been looking into the lift kits, I'm not completely sold on them just yet though. See, the GX like the LX raises its self...it's actually a really cool feature if you have a trailer or a boat or something. I've been looking for rims for it though, haven't found any that interest me yet ;) . The Lexus was my X-mas gift, I just got it. It probably has about 1,600KM. I don't drive it every day..that's what I got the old beater for .

Reddwarf,
Thank you, I will definitely post before pictures. They really do help. Yes, its cold, but I have a heated garage so I can detail all day and night long :awesome: . Victoria is gorgeous, I've been there very beautiful and the temperature is much better.

FloridaNative,
Canada has its perks, the temperatures in the summer range from 15degrees to about 32degrees. It all depends where you are though, Victoria is hot in the summer and I mean hot but it's nice. I personally, prefer hot temperatures but I like the lifestyle I have here and the nice thing is that we can go on holidays when ever we feel like...like I said it's a very comfortable lifestyle and I'm blessed that I can go on holidays when I choose ;)

Thank you alban61, lately I've been practicing taking pictures because some members here take some really nice pictures. Just want to be up to caliber. I may even get a better digital camera...but I might be asking for too much, I spent quite a bit already but I’ll keep my fingers crossed;) .

Yeh the leveling suspension is cool, load the truck up or tow a boat and pumps and it will raise itself to the neutral position. Our Lincoln Towncar does the same thing as well. Though we don't use our trucks much for towing, borrow any of the families diesels for that:awesome:

Only thing that sucks is if the suspension goes out out of warrenty, eek, nice repair bill:(

Congrats on the products you pick out. Nica, you and your little detailer have fun on your cars. My little girl loves the foam gun the best. Did you pick one of them? I love the pics of Canada.

I liked ETA B4U, but it was taken...
2HOT4ME I considered too....
but I had this plate on my red Civic in my early 20's, with slightly different spelling, but turned it in when I got my white Supra, and just rode with the number on that one. So, I was happy to get a version of it. I have been trying since August to get the right thing. Ryan had some good ideas. Everything in this state is taken!!!!
Thanks for the kudos!!:awesome: Im the MAN :grouphug:

Dude this picture is insane :righton: I dont know if the wife would let me do that to the Lexus though....maybe not now but when she gets her car and turns her head for a second....BAM...that is what you might see ;)

Wife would like a convertable, she liked the BMW but the Mercedes are looking good.

Thanks for the link, I saved it as a favorite.

I vote for "2 HOT 4U" how about HOTTHING or mmm....don't you have a limit? How many character can you fit on your plates, here in Canada it's seven characters max.

Your a true baller when your Lexus becomes your offroad beater:D . I wanted to lift the LX470 with some 35's, but my mom likes it just the way it is:(, she's was already suprised when I had a Magnaflow dual exhaust put on that she didn't know about, she started it up one day and was like........?????:D

I don't know if you have an exhaust on your truck but Yota's iForce V8 has a nice snarl when opened up, LX is still slow though lol.

Actually, 2hot4u is taken in the state of California. :(
Here, we can go to dmv.ca.gov and try out what is available. Lots of good ones are taken; it tells you right on the spot. I went thru so many it wasn't funny. I was pretty happy with red lightning, as I have a lead foot that is going to get me in trouble...
(knock on wood)
I am pretty good at getting in trouble. Last thing I need is a speeding ticket! lol
Our max is only 6 or 7 letters/symbols, depending upon the plate style.

Surfer, the off road beater I got for now is the 1992 Jeep Cherokee and that thing has lots of rust...I'll post some picture of the poor thing. The thing is that the inline six engine in it is amazing, all I do is change the oil in it with Mobile 1 and that's it. It gives me no troubles what so ever (knock on wood). The only thing is that it's not lifted, but I still go up to the mountains with my buddy with the Land Cruiser. We will go as far us my poor Jeep will follow and then we leave it and continue with his Land Cruiser.

Yup, kinda like Fords old inline six that saw duty in the older F-150's, damn engine will go 2-300K miles with just normal maintenance. Same for the Lancruisers/LX before the V8 was put in, Yotas inline 6 was a strong and reliable engine.
