It's HOT here in GA

I don't mine the heat to much, but when its humid it kicks my butt....
 
Been hot here too.. Heat index is still 96* at 9pm..

Calling for 100*/111* index tomorrow, 101*/112* Thursday, and no relief in sight until at least the following weekend! Hottest stretch since I was born according to todays newspaper. And I'm stuck pouring concrete out in it.

Pays the bills though, so who am I complain
 
I did three cars over the weekend and I had to get up very early to avoid the brutal heat.
I am having air ducts put in my garage soon so I don't have to leave the door open to the house and run fans. I am ready for Fall.
 
I wish Fall was actually a season in Florida...mostly it just means slightly less hot (but not much) :(

I have about a 4 hour window from 7-11 AM when it is not too bad outside and actually light out. Yuck.
 
Hot Here Too!

It's HOT here in Col. Oh too. I sprayed off my car and while I was drying it I thought someone was wringing out the water on me. I stayed wet the rest of the day. The air feels wet! Hard on detailing outside! Keep Cool All!

Fark that is hot...

Most summers here we can see up to 104 max, but then again its constantly about 95. As we are on the other side of the world its Winter now and some days are 79 max and get down to 41 or sometimes 23 in some parts over night.
 
I have lived in South West Florida for 11 years now. During that time it only got up to 100 once. It's usually in the low 90's everyday during the summer months. Being surround by water helps keep it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. A lot of states are warmer then Florida in the summer. The Gulf of Mexico also gets in the low 90's during the summer.
 
Last weekend I was driving home form work at 3am and the temp was still 82. Well see what it is tonight and tomorrow night.
 
Yeah, you folks in the Southeast were on National news lastnight. They were talking about your heatwave. Looks like a scorcher.
 
Jimmie I just look at the temperatrue gauge on my deck in the shade, it's saying 101F.

sparkie, you need to come to Florida and cool off. It's only 89 in Cape Coral right now.
 
Wow it was nasty out today...Moreso than yesterday. It's okay until about 1pm, but after that we just got to a good stopping point and quit. Supposed to be even warmer tomorrow, so we're starting at 5am, and will just quit when we get done with the pour, instead of trying to set up for the next day like we did today.
 
In the warehouse I work at at 11 pm the temp gauge reads 104 inside :(. They say Sept is when the temps start dropping and I'm counting down the days.
 
This is either Monday or Tuesday night (I can't remember:o ) at around 8:30p in my attached garage. Add in some flood watches over the past few days and it's nothing but a "Thank You Mother Nature" party here in IL. Yippee.

Yes it is still HOT. Today my temp stated 111:( at one point. Most of the day it was over a hundred. Come on cooler weather.
 
I checked the thermo went I got to work and it read 115* :(
 
Wow! It started cooling down some since Wednesday. Today the humidity is going down and it's 74 right now, with a high of 81. From then on it'll be in the mid 70's till Wed.
