What do you guys used for polish on a japanese car. Will SSR 1 AND SSR 2.5 be ok or menzerna line of products be too harsh.Feed back please:confused:

Depends on how bad the imperfections are..

I wouldn't use Menzerna Super Insensive polish, as it will be too much, but again, it really depends on how bad is your paint. PO106FF nano polish is an excellent finishing polish, does an excellent job very quick.

I have used Menzerna power gloss compound, Pinn advanced Swirl remover
and Pinn advanced polish all with very good results :)

So.i believe PO106ff nano polish is safe on a soft paint,is that right? My car paint only have light scratches so i can skip the SIP.Its really hard for me to decide, but i`ve narrowed down on to two product, the SSR line the menzerna or may be i`ll get both and see the result for myself.don`t wanna get myself confuse.

Will you be working in the sun? If so, I'd go with SSR or the Optimum line. If not, you cannot go wrong with the Menzerna line. Whichever line you go with just be sure to use the least aggressive polish/pad combo you can to get the job done.

Japanese paint is a pretty general statement. Infinity has some super soft clears, honda has soft clears, the newest Acura's have rock hard clears, Lexuses vary. Nissan even had some hard clears now :P It is really all over the map, just try a test spot with your least aggresive polish (ssr1)and see how it goes. FWIW FPII is really nice on super soft paints.

I have a Mazda3 (jap car) and used XMT 2 with LC orange, then XMT 360 with LC orange (not same pad), and it looks awesome. Removed 95% of imperfections on my black mazda.
