hey guys, i'm getting ready to C Quartz a customers vehicle this week this will be my first time preping a vehicle for it and applying it i would like to list the process i will use and please feel free to correct me or add something if i forget or just dont know. i'm a little excited but freaked out at the same time.

so i have a 30ml bottle of cquarts (hopefully its enough)
a 1 liter bottle of eraser
and 400 ml of reload

here is the process i intend to do.

-clean wheels and tires
-snow foam vehicle
-wash (2 bucket method)
- dry (metro blaster + MF towel)
- Carpro TRIX
- Rinse
- Clay Bar
- Correct paint using Meguiar's MF system 5" pads
(should i use my flex 3401 or PC for that step)
- IPA wipe down with Carpro Eraser
- Apply C Quartz one panel at a time
- final wipe down with Reload
- Dress tires

if i have any C Quartz left over i'll apply it to the wheels as well.

like i said this is the first time i'm doing this any input or info would be appreciated. thanks in advance guys.

You won't even come close to using the whole 30ml. You might use 1/3 to half of it.

Since you have Eraser why use IPA?

So I worked on the Cherokee this passed Sunday. I had no issues with applying C Quartz in thin layers by the time I was done there was enough in that 30 ML bottle for 2 more vehicles. I'm a believer lol I was skeptical at first because the bottle was so small but I was amazed at how thin it could be spread. The customer was happier than a pig in mud and couldn't believe the results.

i was wondering the same thing. i just got a 30 ml bottle and was wondering how far it would go.lol. can u tell me how often u change the suede cloth on the applicator?

It came with 4 cloths so here's what I did. I used one for the whole front end. I used another for the while passenger side and part of the roof. Another for the whole rear end and rear half of the roof. And the last one for the whole drivers side and remainder of the roof.

Were you flipping the cloth, too? You can use both sides of it :dblthumb2:
