What can you tell me about the clear coat on a jeep grand cherokee 2012 hard, medium, soft?

all I can remember from my 05 cherokee is its pretty hard paint, maybe medium. Took 8 section passes of megs 105 and 205.

regardless start with the least agressive polish and pad and it should matter how hard the clear coat is.

Perform a test spot. Being a 2012, I would hope the paint isn't that bad.

Thanks for the advise! Its in good shape, just the occasional water spot and I would love to get that wet look since the paint is a brilliant black pearl, I think its gonna look awesome.
