Jeep Hardtop Question

Got in a 2002 Jeep Wrangler today and it's well worn... It's mainly going to get HD Speed with a Liquid Souveran top off

My question is regarding the hard top that is somewhat "textured". Any thoughts on what to use on the hard top?
Does anyone bother taking the rear mounted spare tire off?

Here is a photo of the Hardtop.. Just wondering what you Jeep folks use on it. I am not a Jeep person...

My parent's have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. My dad does take the spare tire off when washing. Makes it 10x easier. As for the hardtop, he uses Collinite 845 on it and has done so since new. Works pretty well actually.
