Jeep Tires

Sorry not the best picture below. But with the tires on Jeep I have trouble getting the tire dressing applied evenly. I used a microfiber and foam applicator and a small foam paint brush. None of them worked well in getting into all the nooks and crannies of the tire. Any ideas or what do you all use on tires like this? I know it's a jeep and usually dirty all over but every once in a while I like to clean it up.

For tires like that I use a paint brush that way I can get into all those tight areas.
 
On my Jeep I have found that cleaning the tire before the dressing is crucial. When I returned from Jeeptoberfest I had to clean the tires three times to get them to take the dressing. After trying TW jet black tire coating on my work vehicle, I will be using that on the Jeep from now on. It dries to the touch, washes easy and has a deep black look while keeping the dirt out of the rubber much better than the conventional greasy dressings. When I have used this bottle I will be trying some of the other similar type dressings here on AG. From now on, coatings that dry to the touch and place a barrier on the tire is all I will be using.
I used the foam applicator that came with the kit on my work truck tires but used a tapered foam paint brush for the tread.
The only con with the coating that I have found is that it can be scraped of if you scrub a curb so off road trips with sand, mud or rocks may require a reapplication. I will post some pics of mine shortly to describe this.
 
JMO. For off road tires nothing is going cover better than a spray on product. Tire foam etc.... Spray/walk away/done.
 
I would have to agree with pro 4x about the spray products ease of use. Meg's Endurance is one of the products I was using previously. It comes down to how you use the Jeep and how often you want to clean and dress the tires. As an avid off-roader, I had issues with dirt sticking to conventional dressings and hated to clean and redress every few days (I'm off-road multiple times per week). You will have determine the best option for your vehicle.

This is my current dressing after a month and half of heavy driving with stormy weather.
You can see where the coating was removed on the bottom.

I use a paint brush as well.

I mix Meg Hyper 2:1 in a old County Crock tub, dip and go around 3/4 times.

I may keep 4/5 oz in there at at time no need to fill it up. It's funny bc when I reached for a Tupperware the in the kitchen and the wife was like "oh no, here use this!" lol
 
Thanks for all the ideas. I think the spray is the way to go for me or the paintbrush - always find so many possibilities for everything when I get on here.
