The owner of this BMW contacted me last winter about getting his car looking back to the way it should. After purchasing the car it had been damaged on the drivers side by a valet at a restaurant. After the body shop repaired it along with several repeated attempts to remove the swirls/holograms, the owner had enough and sought help online, which was how he found me.

Process:

Wash - Foamed with OPC/CGCW followed by 2BM wash and CGCW
Wheels - P21S Gel and various brushes
Tires - OPC, dressed with Hyper Dressing 3:1
Clay - Blackfire Clay and M34 as lube
Initial correction step - D300/M105 mix on the GG6 with Megs MF cutting pads
Finishing Step - PO85RD via rotary and Blue LC pads
Protection - Blackfire Wet Diamond

Looks sensational. Now wait a day . It is black...

Fantastic results. I don't have a rotary but noticed that you went from a D300/105 combo with a GG straight to PO85RD. The results peak for themselves, but could you have gone to PO85RD with the GG with equal results?

Where where you able to obtain one of those meguiars banners ?
Nice work, im sure the owner was pleased.

Holy smokes Chad, that BMW came out gorgeous! I can't believe the product reflective shots and even though the clouds were out the finished product is spectacular!! :props:

That is a great turn around. I also enjoy using that D300/m105 mix.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! :thankyousign:

You could but it takes longer to break down on the DA and I feel the rotary gave it a slightly better overall gloss. If I were to use a DA I'd probably use 106fa, which is a combo I use often actually.

I got that one from ADS a couple years back....spend enough money and they'll usually throw one in if you ask. ;)
