Jeweling speed?

I've been reading and looking at a few jeweling lets say instructions, and found one that says to start at 1500 rpms then go down to 1200 rpms, then at 1000, then another says at the lowest speed, so on the flex rotary it would be on the #1- 600 rpms. So what is the ideal or best speed to jewel?

Depends on the polish. As a general rule for myself, I start around 1000-1200 on 2 passes then end at lowest speed(600). Pressure is dependent on the paint. Sometimes machine weight, most times I take weight away from the machine.
