I took on this range rover yesterday knowing it was going to be bad, didnt fully appreciate just HOW bad until I got to my customers house. Thankfully for me he wasnt trying to get a full paint restoration, just enough to where he could sell it. I decided to make this video hoping to show others how well m105/orange pad and a griots da worked. This took me about 10 mins on speed 5-6. About 20mins later my polisher wouldn't start up.... boy was I nervous. Fortunately my helper messed with it and saw it still had some life in it, that is if I used it on speed 6... and only 6. Anyways, I ended up doing the whole thing on speed 6. The customer ended up VERY impressed and satisfied. I contacted griots and they are sending me another under their lifetime warranty. The rep was nice enough to let me hold on to my one speed polisher until I get the new one in the mail. Now I just hope they deliver as promissed. Pardon the groaning, back was killin me lol [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tekiWgzrYzk&feature=youtube_gdata_player]YouTube - Buffing paint restoration scratch removal[/video]

No problem, even at 720p the video doesnt show just HOW BAD that ride was lol. It was his off roading vehicle.

Wow man thats a great 50/50 vid. IM glad you got your Buffer issue fixed promptly. It just shows that when you pay for quality products you get quality service.

Looks good man!!! You gotta do something about your back, you sound terrible, lol...

Funny, i really didnt even realize i was groaning up until the end. So embarassing, hope you guys benefit from this vid in some way lol.

I take it he ran this thing up and down a few groves? Or really used it for it's purpose...playing in the mud and offroad? Lol nice job bud!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I have been really impressed by my griots, any of you guys ever tried using the surbuf pads on a da? Along with some m105?

Nice job!

I recognize that "trail pinstriping"... scratches from offroading through trees and brush. That's the reason I bought my first polisher years ago. I'm still cleaning up my truck after this year's hunting season.

I'm a big Surbuf fan. Try one. I think you'll like 'em.

John I feel for you man lol, this one was a trip. I have a few 5.5 inch surbuf pads, I actually used it for part of the correction on that driver door. Its always an awesome feeling when you're done and are able to blow your customers away even with little effort.

Can you post a few pictrues? Flash video is a major security risk and not allowed on some computers - or can you use a different video format (perhaps HTML5)?

GEWB

Im sorry but I didnt take any afters. I dont have a working computer, can anyone else help with this so he can see it?

I got my polisher from ups today, I am very impressed by my hassle free experience with griots. Now I just have to ship my broken one back to them which wont be a problem because they even gave me the return shipping labels. Ill definitely be buying another da from them just to have as a back up or if I need help on a job. I can't believe I was on the fence for so long about getting this da. It comes with a LIFETIME warranty!!!! Only da ive seen with a lifetime warranty. Anyone in the market for getting one, take it from me, youll have ZERO regrets. I am in no way affiliated with this company, just a very satisfied customer.:xyxthumbs: griots garage

Damn nice work.

Good thing I had the volume turned down low. Anyone near me would have thought I was watching some of that brownchicken-browncow type vidoes.
