Joe Paterno

I'm a PITT guy so obviously I'm no fan, but it's a shame to see him have to go out like this though. No sympathy however, he helped bring this on himself.

It had to happen. No way he should still have been allowed on the sideline.

The whole situation is very disturbing, I just leave it at that. Too much to say.

Nope Flash, Joe aint gonna make it either....next off topic post is_____________?

BTW, my Kim Kardashian post was a big hit :xyxthumbs:

I remember another " got too old to coach, and morals be damned" college football coach (Woody Hayes) that had to leave the game he loved so much under a different, yet still scandalous situation.

One recognizable difference between these scandals, to me, is the fact that Woody was tackling the boys "on the field".

Still being relevant to the game involving the ol' pigskin, this might be just the ticket for a good (fill-in the blank) "off-topic" post:

Yep, 'ol Joe-Pa threw his reputation and legacy down the drain... and he's got no one but himself to blame for it.
