My canon S2 IS FINALLY showed up yesterday afternoon, so today I was bored and decided to go take a few close-up's of some things I found in the backyard and in my room.

Holy crap the 1st few pics where of your room :p Geez what in the heck where those bugs eating then i noticed they invited what look like a wasp over to dinner. anyway you took some nice pics crystal clear very sharp. Congrats on the new camera hope you enjoy it..btw, The lizards where one of the things i enjoyed about florida..
 
the geode picture was taken on my desk that's in my room if that counts.

The beetles were eating the sap comming out of the tree. It was kinda crazy. there were like 20 beetles eating the sap and another 10 or so crawling on the ground where they had fallen off the trunk.

and the lizard was just cool. I just wish the flash had lit up all of his body instead of just the head.
 
Nice pic's. We just got a Powershot A620. Still trying to figure out how everything works. Congratz on your new Canon.
 
Nice pics Neo! You're so artistic! :) What kind of camera did you get? I've gotta get me a digital. 35 mm just doesn't do it anymore.
 
seems to be quite found of bugs ... I'd be out at the beach zooming in on some hotties, but thats just me !
 
I got a Canon S2 IS. for the camera + carrying case + 512 mb memory card + large tripod + small tripod, it only set me back $385. not too bad if you ask me considering the camera that i had before couldn't even zoom!
