Evening Folks! I just spent the last 4 hrs snowblowing my yard (you gotta love winter), so I figured it's time to sit down, relax for a while and introduce myself.
Like a lot of you, I've been a car nut my whole life and until recently did all my detailing by hand. Now that I'm in my 50's though and with a bit too much arthritis in my shoulders, I figured it was time to break down and buy a polisher. So after reading all the good reviews on here, I picked up a PC 7424XP and a bunch of LC pads. I'm one of those guys that doesn't mind getting his vehicles dirty.............just as long as I can clean them as soon as I get home (apparently it's an illness that most of us share on this forum). So I'm really looking forward to reading your threads and getting some advice on using the 7424XP. I currently have a Mini Cooper S Convertible (summers only), a black Harley and a black Dakota (I'll be looking for tips on these two for sure) and a beige Chrysler Pacifica (the family hauler).
Unbelievably detailed (pun intended) forum you guys have here.......I can't wait to jump in.
