I made a website today and advertised it on Facebook and I have my first 2 cars already booked for next week.

Here's the site any tips would be appreciated.

I would dress the tires for the hand wash package. It doesn't take much product or time. I don't see anywhere on the page saying that you seal or wax the car. Just washing and cleaning interiors. Might want to add that part in, it's the most important part of maintaining your car.

I thought I included waxing in the full detail. I'll double check on it though. Any other ideas on what to include in the different packages? I can do everything but headlight restoration(don't have the products yet) and polishing with a buffer.

Just saw I didn't include it. Thanks for catching that I will add it.

Because it is your homepage, thought I would help with a little bit of grammar :)

Pyles Auto Detailing is a small time business ran by me, Jordan Pyles. I focus on quality detailing using professional products.

If you're particular about the car you drive, then you should be particular about the care it receives. Without realizing it, your vehicle is exposed to the elements on a daily basis. This will cause deterioration over time, decreasing its value and beauty. My goal is to preserve your vehicle and keep it looking the very best.

Please feel free to visit the gallery and check out frequently updated 'before and after' pictures of my detailing projects. Prices and details are provided on the prices page where an outline and price sheet is provided.

To arrange an appointment, please use the details on contact page. Detailing work is done at the location of the car. All that is Required is an outlet and water spout.

I've changed a few words around - hope you don't mind. Again, might not be perfect to all, but definitely changes a few grammar issues an odd spell mistake :)

Otherwise, nice simple, easy to view website!
Congrats on eager customers!!

Thanks guys I appreciate all the help and keep correcting and offering suggestions. Criticism is something I've learned to love. Or forced to love due to growing up playing football.

Anyways thanks again, and if you have any other suggestions on services I could provide feel free to share

Holy cow, 2 cars after 1 day of advertising? Wow, I have to almost beg for a client. Good luck!

Regarding grammar see above -

operated might be better a choice of words than "ran"

I would bump up prices by 5 dollars each, I would also add in things like paint correction and maybe just a wheel clean and tire shine package. Finally I would add a surcharge to vehicles that are big like big rigs, suvs and pickup trucks

That is great.. I hope they keep coming in for you..

Hey if you need any help or ideas with the web site.. Let me know..I have been using webs.com for about 5 years now. I run the website for Putnam County Speedway ( Home - Putnam County Speedway ) and I am in the middle of making mine at Home - Sparkle N Shine Mobile Detail . I don't mind helping or giving you any ideas on using webs.. I have found they are really easy to use. I have tried godaddy for building other sites for someone else and found them alittle harder to use..Might be that I am just use to webs.

I appreciate the offer. I love the website creator and it was so easy to pick up and use. I'm just using the free package right now. Is there a way to spice up the mobile site? Or any other tips? Your websites look good.

Just an update the two cars I've mentioned is from the same person I am doing them next week. I also have one other person scheduled for next week who is also recommending me to someone else.

I have 3 cars so far. I also bargined with my buddy if he signed 8 people up for a exterior detail or higher package I would give him a $200 pair of UA glasses as a kickback. So far he's got 2-3 people who have asked for details and plan on contacting me. Hopefully I can sell them on the service. Once I do a car I'll upload pics.

Also any tips on stains in carpet? Will d101 get them out?

The Sparkle N Shine site is also on the free version right now..I will be upgrading soon.. The mobile site is kinda limited with the free version. You can change the Template and colors and do some stuff with the fonts. Also I have found a way to get around on not using your storage space when up loading photos to your gallery. Make a member section and then you register under the members of your site as your company name. Then when you upload photo's to your site just login in as that member and it does not use your storage space for what members upload..

Thanks for the tip.
How do you edit the mobile site though? Is it in the dashboard?

Click on the console button on the top right. It should be in the first row of the things listed to do

I have some additional corrections...

"run by me" (verb tense),
"Even if you dont realize it...." (subject verb agreement),

the very best it can (or the very best it can look)

Besides those few things, it's a great site! Congrats on the new jobs!

I'm trying to set up a website...what template are you guys using? I was going to use google sites...

I definately like the ease of webs.com. It is easy to learn too.

Any tips on attracting customers guys? I ordered a large rear windshield decal advertising my business. My problem is being 19 people are put off by my age when explaining myself. Any way to ease their minds?

Customers are my problem too....getting them that is xD I go primarily by word of mouth but am trying the website and maybe a decal as well. Can you get your website to pop up when someone googles "car detailing in *insert your hometown here*? b/c I'd like that. It won't do me any good if someone in Louisiana or California looks at my site b/c I'm on Long Island.... lol. I hear you on the age thing...I'm only 17, but I've been detailing for four years now (and what I thought was detailing for probably 2 years before that haha). It's sad because after joining AG I probably know more than most adults but people are skeptical because of our age... they dont think we're responsible or something just b/c we're teens. It's reverse agism lol
