Just bought a 3401 what compound?

I did a search on this all I could find was older answers which seemed like everyone liked m105. So is that still the go to choice for most or something else? Thanks Joe

Was asking in general no specific cars all I have for compounds is cg v line. Was just seeing what the common choice is. Thanks Joe
 
Sonax polishes are great! No dusting, long working time, easy removal, and great finish.
 
I have M101, M105, Carpro Fixer, Menzerna FG400, & Wolfgang Uber. My favorite is Wolfgang Uber...
 
I'd put in a vote for the Blackfire Duo. They are similar to the Menzerna and Wolfgang products.

I've also used the Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Polish with success.
 
I think I'm gona try the menzerna next sale thanks for all the input guys. I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of the top few that have been named and it all comes down to personal preference at this point. Thanks Joe.
 
I've been hearing nothing but good stuff about Menzerna, so...When I bit the bullet and ordered my Flex yesterday, I threw in the FG400 and the SF4500.

Can't wait to tear some s--t up !!
 
I am now a Menzerna Fan (any polish or sealant). Megs 105 and 205 are my 2nd choice
 
I use megs m105 followed by 3m machine polish and 3m hand glaze topped by pro wax carnuba paste wax awesome results all time, I use megs last touch in between cleaning waxes and to give that last touch

I have a flex 3401 and love the wolfgang uber compound and fg400. I did not like megs 105 at all. In fact I gave away almost a full quart after using the other two. I had done atleast a 20 cars with 105. I will never go back to 105. I do really like 205 though. I cant tell much difference between the uber compound and fg400 so I would buy whatever is cheaper.

i will only add to this, and that is to get the LC backing plate system and 5" hybrid pads. read through the technique, you cant go wrong with either the Menzerna or the Wolfgang line of products
