Out of all the emails I got months ago - Ive only heard back from a couple of guys that bought and used the drywash product I use on a regular basis. What were your guy's take on it?

I'm not sure which drywash you use, but I just recently tried Kozak, and I don't think it's for me. It only seems to remove light dust from the surface. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I thought it was as simple as wiping with the cloth. Am I missing something?

I'm not sure which it is you use either and I understand not mentioning the name of it here. Check your PM's please.

Works well on lightly soiled vehicles, but I wouldn't trust it on anything dirty. Too much risk of inducing swirls and marring into the paint IMO.

I've used it several times and it's great for maintenance washes. I've used it twice on my new HHR which I've kept clean. Lightly soiled after a week of rain and it didn't induce any swirls or marring. That being said I don't think I'd use it on a heavily soiled car. I'm still a traditional wash type of guy if I have the means to do so. Either that or a rinseless wash.

But it's a good product and definitely has it's place in the detailing world. As you have made your living on it! So obviously it's a pretty good product.

:iagree:

It's great for my truck. I live in an apartment and the local car washes won't let me handwash at all (have gotten yelled at several different times). I run and use their pressure washer and then drive home and give it a run with the waterless. My truck rarely gets that dirty, though. Just when it rains.

I actually used it for the first time yesterday and loved it! Like the others said, I would not use it on a show car that is really dirty. However, for production detailing where the customer just wants the paint clean and does not want to spend much it is absolutely perfect. It is now a staple of my mobile services.

Just to make sure I am using the same product as you are, it is the green stuff from CG correct?

Works great for me, a little expensive. Glad Paul hooked me up with a free sample.

I use it for my Cobra. It never sees rain anymore and gets cleaned before it comes out of the garage and when it goes back in. Only about twenty miles a month. It works great for that. I have tried it on lightly soiled vehicles and it works great. No complaints.

I've used the waterless multiple times for maintenance washes (ie: light pollen, rain spots). Compares well to the DP rinseless wash I had been using.

A more severe test on muddy rocker panels also worked without scratching, although I'd probably still use a rinseless 2bm for this instead of waterless.

Glad to hear you all were happy with it.... it had just hit me this morning, hmmmm no one told me how it was.... did they hate it lol?!?! Im actually looking for a less expensive waterless for my fleets cause even one of them actually said they dont need the wax applied - only that is my basic product used so thats what they get lol. The stuff lasts until I get to them again each month - makes cleaning them again cake :dblthumb2:

Sadly, I've haven't tried it yet. I intend to as soon as I start getting refular business. Seems like an amazing time saver!:xyxthumbs:
