I got my very first detail job! And, It fell right on my lap. It really did! Not even planned out just happened.

I'm outside polishing my car when a neighbor from two blocks down was walking by. Saw I was going farther than the average car wash man. We got to talking about cars and he happened to get a look at my collection in my garage. He was shocked at how much I had on my shelf. To me It's small to what I want It to be lol.

After a little bit more of talking he had asked me what would I charge to Wash, Wax and Vacuum. My brain froze because I never thought anyone would have ever asked me that. I never really planned on this to be a business. Just a hobby.

So, out of nowhere I said $65. He smiled like the Kool-Aid guy as said "Deal!" Set a date, time and I was ready to go.

I was so nervous and It took forever to pick what product to use just on the wax lol. Now, when I did this job I forgot to look at it first. But, like I said It's not a business so I'm not use to It. But, It was a bit more of a Jeep than I thought! This thing was sitting on 35x12 I believe. But, I went at It and had so much fun doing it!

I still don't have a decent camera so my phone was the only option to take pictures with. It was nothing special of a job (well to me it was lol) so please excuse the bad photography.

I had used:
AutoGlym Body Work Shampoo
Huge amount of MF's
CG's Inner Clean
Stoner's Invisible Glass
Meg's Tire Cleaner
Meg's Chrome Spray
Meg's Endurance Tire Gel
Meg's NXT Wax

The truck wasn't in bad shape what so ever but up close you could tell It was dirty. Pictures up close to show was horrible on my phone so I didn't even bother keeping them. But, here is a decent shot of the rims.

I applied Blackfire sealant on the paint and Wolfgang ETS on bumpers and fenders. The plastics are rough and these tends to collect a lot of dirt specially when it rains. The last time i washed this car , the plastics are still beading pretty well but darkening effect are gone. Any other products recommended for this kind of surface.

:welcome: :)

Detailing is great and AGO is a place we can share and have the same love for the passion.

Congrats!
