I just purchased a Gilmour Foamaster.

What do you guys recommend is the best soap to use with it that produces the most foam?

Hopefully not something too expensive.

With my foam gun I use Meguiar's Hyper Dressing. This is definitely a great addition to your detailing arsenal.

DP will create the "most" foam ... other nice soaps are Optimum, Duragloss, Poorboys and Griots.

try using your current soap or any you have laying around by adding 3-5 ounces and then filling the rest of the canister with water and shaking it well before use. having the most "foam" is not important, as long as you have some lubricity as you glide your wash media cleaning each panel...

I have been using mine with Dodo Juice basics of bling, sour power, and born to be mild all work great in the foam gun

CG Citrus Wash and Clear. Not quite sure the dilution rate but I dont use very much at all.

Have a bottle of Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild, waiting until the CG stuff is done to give it a try (Ive heard very good things about it)

Anyone tried Meguiars Gold Class shampoo with a foam gun? I just wanna test this thing out when it comes in the mail. Wondering if this would work in the mean time.

Has any one tried it? How many ounces should you add of the shampoo? The bottle on the gun is a quart.

I've used this and the wash and wax version and they both did well. I didn't measure anything but just filled the container with water , poured probably 3-4 oz in the gun, shook it up and went to town.
