Just got a letter from my Dad! (Jim's Garage-Part II)

Actually, Corey did a lot of research on flooring forums and thay say the opposite. Kind of like car finishes. My Grayy Audi shows a lot less dirt than my black Ford. Time will tell.

If you use that garage for daily drivers, when it rains pulling the cars in leaves tire tracks that don't come up easily. I have a friend who had that same color, in less then 6 months he had them replace it with black flooring. They covered the cost of the floor, but he had to pay labor. Maybe your floor is made of a different material, but I don't think so

I own a grey car too

Dear Old Tiger or I should say Dad -
I recently attended the Maury Povich show, you know where they do the DNA tests for all those really weird people.

CONGRATULATIONS you are my father too! I can't wait to join the family for the Thanksgiving dinner.

I miss you soooo much DAD.

That's a great post.

Jim the garage looks great. I can't wait to see how it all finishes up. So I have a question about the cabinets: Will my master blaster take up the whole bottom shelf or will some room be spared? I have the smaller cabinet with the roll out shelf and I love it for all my bottles because I can reach the ones it the back without having to move everything around.

Well, Corey in addition to finally finding your long lost Father, you have also found your uncle. You see, Dad (Jim) and I are twin brothers. We were separated at birth. Jim went to live with a nice family here in the states while I was forced to tend to the camels in the Gobi desert in China.
When I was nine, I managed to break free and escape to New York. Then a few years ago I joined AG, that is when I discovered I had a twin. He MUST be a twin. An older gentleman with a passion for clean vehicles! An older gentleman with toys?! An overly organized garage!
But alas, he still has not acknowledged that we are kin.....
Enjoy your new found relationship, don't worry about me, I still have my camel memories.......

Ok Debbie Downer. Lets let them make their own decisions about their garage floor. I like the gray color myself.

Thanks for clarifying that Flash. If it marks up I will get some Graphite tiles and make tire guides, 24" wide. I hope the warranty will cover replacement.

With bag you have about 6" x 36" of space behind. Without bag, maybe 9" to use. Without bag, I guess you may have 6" on the side too. Hope this helps!

I can't make it to DF, but you can always have a ride in the Lambo AND anyone of the 36 camels

Uncle John!! If you ever need help with the camels it will only cost you a ride in the lambo :)

Well, this sounds like a case of father knows best!

Thanks Jim! Please feel free to send a cabinet my way

Oops my bad. The cabinets are 30" wide.

I just checked and the ready to assemble are 36" wide and 24" deep.

I wish the premier were the same size. I like the size of my modular gear box but it's almost as wide deeper than the cabinets
