just got some megs 105, im lost

Rasky's got it right. Gotta prime the pad + use a lot of pressure.

This is when you decide to give up on that Pc and move into rotary and then you get too see how well 105 really works.

haha, i will have to see how much money i get for graduation in two weeks, then maybe.

I started with the flex. I got a PC later to use 4 inch pads in tight areas.

Although your technique could be improved, from my experience using M105 on a Corvette it has about the same cut as Menzerna Intensive Polish which is a 5, Power gloss is an 8. 105 was definitely not a heavy compound, more of a medium. This was using a wool pad and rotary where I made these observations. So don't feel bad if it's not removing the defects it may be the 105 and not you.

M105 has alot more cut than IP by a mile, I would say your techinique needs to be improved also. Power Gloss and 105 have about the same cut but 105 finishes down better. Just like the op you are working the product way too long and inducing marring which seems like it is not working but in turn causing you more problems.

No work time was a lot less than Power Gloss. PG removed 2000 grit sanding marks in one pass, 105 still left some marks after 3 passes. IP removed the marks after 3 passes.

One explanation for the different results people are getting with 105 is inconsistency of the product, there may be varying levels of cut, who knows.

My Lincoln has a very hard clear coat And I was able to achive 100% correction using a PC, 5.5 orange pad, priming pad with product, heavy pressure, moving 1 to 2 IPS and 3 to 4 passes. Hope this helps! Good luck!

That makes no sense since 105 has more cut. I heard of one person having a bad bottle, but other than that no other problems.
