Friend of mine just gave me a few bottles of Auto Glym that he got from his job some time ago. Heard I was fooling around with Detailing and decided to give me a couple bottles of unopened Polish & Wash. I've only heard and read a couple articles about Auto Glym but can anyone tell me any more information about them? A good or decent Polish? The Wash I'm not too interested in though.

And the next day he gave me a bottle of M62! Can't beat a friend like this lol

Any comments on this Meguiars Shampoo?

The megs 62 is awesome! I used this stuff for a little while but we got away from using the foam gun. This stuff was incredible though, the cars always came out of the wash bay sparkling. We used it on everyday drivers that the owners didn't care about. Working for a dealership we wash the cars that get mechanic work done and hardly any of them are taken care of. But the cars always came out looking like the people washed their car every sunday after the 62 was used.

As for the polish, I never used that but in my experience with working with different products my advice is to use it and see for yourself. There are many brands of car products and each brand has many different products even in the same product class (wax, polish, compounds, etc). The reason? The products used are based on personal preference. What one person likes the next will hate. Therefore although it is nice to look at reviews and see what other people's experience was like I would still recommend testing it out yourself. I'm not saying to do the entire car, but enough to get an idea of how the product works.

Before I found Autogeek, I spent a lot of time researching products, and at some point, came across information (could not validate the source) that the Autoglym Super Resin Polish and their Extra Gloss Protection were in fact reformulated Klasse twins products (a bit newer, and very easy to apply). I have both the Autoglym and Klasse products, and from my perspective, are very similar products. Please try them out, and provide your feedback.

I agree, I will crack one Polish open next practice session. Haven't gotten away from using M105/205 combo because I love it so much. But, I must make an exception! :xyxthumbs:

That's interesting to know. Now I really want to try it more. I will give some feedback when I break open that bad boy. Thank you.
