Oh my god did this morning suck, hardly got any sleep and I was running late for work, I'm hurting, but then I rembered that my car was clean and I started to cheer up. This may sound stupid or crazy, but have any you ever had that feeling were ya just can't wait to get in your car and drive, because the night or day before you spent hours detailing it and you just want to show it off and enjoy your hard work. Thats just how I feel sometimes, now I think I need to get back to work, before they find meIm the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN , I could watch that banana for hours, that looks like how I dance, the ladies love it, jj, I really need sleep. Bye bye:righton:

I'm a car guy, and love road course racing especially, get ansy waiting to rip up on a track. But that's the way I was raised, got caught plenty of times when I was younger for taking moma dukes P-car out before I had my license lol. Even my truck, I can just start it up and sit there and listen to it idle with the new exhaust and intake, love that blub blub lopey V8 sound.

I usually find excuses to just go out for a drive even late at night, for no reason. I love manual trans, I'll just go out for reason other then to row through the gears. Plan on opening my own office soon and builidng business to the point where it almost automated and I can spend damn near all my time racing, that's my goal.

I love driving past the big shop windows and just looking at the reflection of the car in them

I love my car. I love looking at her when she's all pretty and looking her best. I invent reasons to go outside and just walk around looking at her and if I can't think of a good reason I just go out blatantly to look at her. I love driving her even though she's not a nice fast car, she's still enjoyable to ride in. I have to confess though that I do miss my stick shift. I've driven stick since 1990 and that was kind of hard to say goodbye to, but she is a nice ride and I can't fault her for not being a stick. :)

Haha, I love doing that too. I also love driving past other cars, sound barriers, or parking garages because the sound bounces off everything and sounds awesome.

It's a sickness, but a good sickness knowing you have the cleanest ride on the road!

I know! I love it! I walk through parking lots and look at the other cars and think, this one would clean up nice with some polishing, or WG sealant would look awesome on that paint, or AIO could do wonders on that red! lol

My truck is auto and I always have to have a water bottle with me, 1) I'm always thirsty, and 2) so I can pretend I'm driving stick in it lol. I love stick, doesn't even bother me in rush hour traffic.

LOL I always carry water with me too!! lol I never thought that I could be compensating though! HMMMMM I have to be careful with the shifter though. Sometimes I still automatically reach to shift gears and I have to remind myself I'm in an automatic. lol

I have to think occasionally as the daily company driver is manual but my cars auto, best of both worlds

ugh, pretty cars.... i haven't been able to wash my car since last wednesday. I've done alot of highway driving and it's rained twice since then.

This apartment stuff sucks :(

That or I'll hit the floor thinking I have a clutch as I'm comming to a red light (my foots like wheres the clutch), happens everytime I get out of a stick and back into my truck lol.

LOL Ay I saw a beautiful Mustang GT back with the light grey racing stripes on it. All leather interior sweet. I peeked into the window and it was an automatic!! DOH!!! I couldn't believe that a Mustang would even come in automatic let alone that someone would actually buy it that way. Maybe I am being to hard on die hard automatic transmission fans, but for me, a car like that is born to be manual!!

I'm right there with you guys. I love to drive my car around after detail or even wash it for that matter. I never just wash my car. I always follow up with somthing to give the finish POP. What makes it all even better is that its a manual tranny as well

Hey now. It depends on what the owner is doing with it. If you're a drag racer pushing some high hp then an auto is better. Its more consistant, stronger, and shifts a lot faster then any manual driver. A high hp automatic car will always outrun a high hp manual car. A lot of people dont understand this. However, for drag racing, Id prefer auto over manual no matter what the hp level is.
