I just ordered a 3401 from Amazon. It was a last minute decision since I was about to get the PC but figured since I had $125 in gift cards and reward points I would spring for the higher end. The problem is all of the research for accessories I have done is on the PC.

What pad size and backing plates should I order? What variety of pads should I get? I take good care of my cars and do not need to make any major corrections, just some light scratches here and there. However, I would like to have the stuff available to do corrections with. I will be mainly using it for waxing and buffing with minor corrections from time to time.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Cole

Thanks, that is what I was looking for. I don't need the 5.5'' pads and compatible backing plate like on the PC because the flex is more powerful correct?

If this is your first time using the Flex 3401 then you're in for a real treat!

The 3401 is a very powerful polisher and unlike any of the other DA polishers available today its design incorporates a forced rotation feature which is a major improvement over the other designs.

Your Flex 3401 will easily handle 6 1/2 or 7" sizes.

Thanks, that is what I thought.

I went from a PC (non XP) to the Flex 3401 and fell in love instantly.
