Just ordered the Hitachi SP18VA(H)-few questions please

1. Can I use the Edge rotary adapter on the Hitachi?
2. If I can use the Edge rotary adapter, has anyone used the Edge wave pads, and do you like them and are they easy to work with (on vertical and curved surfaces)
3. I have the Edge and Lake County 6.5 pads for the PC, can these be used with the Hitachi?
4. If I use a backing plate would it be easier/safer to do vertical or curved surfaces with a smaller backing plate and larger pad? Example-4 inch backing plate with a 6.5 inch pad

Yes, the edge adapter will work on the Hitachi.

Haven't tried the wave pads, only the flat ones. I'm currently back to a velcro system though.

6.5" pads will work fine. They are what I prefer.

I don't change backing plates. I just stick to the 4 3/4" plate using 6 1/2" pads.
