Newbie here! Suggestions needed!. I have a 2K5 Black Lincoln LS. Before last week, I mainly took it to the car wash to have it washed .I don't think I ever waxed it. The car has never been garaged, sits in the sun 24/7 in a Philly.

My question is preparation, I'm thinking Meguiars M205 (I have M105 too), quality swirl mark remover, Meguiars cleaner, Meguiars #27 glaze, then WG Fuzion. I am not sure if this is the correct order to apply products either.

If these are the right types of products to use, would these brands work well with WG Fuzion? If this is the wrong path to take, can someone suggest a better path to getting my car as great as I can get it. I am also using ther PC 7424 to apply most if not all of the products mentioned.

Your help and suggestions are greatly apprecaited. Thanks in advance

M105 (as needed) , M205 for finishing and then Fuzion. Its wet and delicious and doubt you would see an appreciable difference using a glaze too.

Key points,

  • Don't tackle to big an area at one time
  • Don't move the polisher too fast when doing correction work
  • Use firm pressure when doing correction work
  • Use the 5.0 to 6.0 speed setting for correction work
  • Hold the pad flat to the surface
  • Don't buff product to a dry buff
  • Overlap a little into the previous section when starting a new section

i just ordered the 8 oz tub too. love the wax. my favorite now. only hint i have is to just spend twice the time you would think on the polishing and clay before starting the polishing. mike and everyone here will give you great advice but just remember to keep it fun for yourself and enjoy.

Thanks for the advice, I will let you guys know how I made out. The videos are off the hook.
