you unscrew that piece and screw in the above quick connect (with some pluming tape to help reduce leaks) and you should be in business...
Loctite 5452. Too many people don't know how to use teflon tape for threads. Also teflon tape has a high probability of having pieces breaking off and getting clogged in things.
Only thing teflon tape is good for is stainless on stainless fittings to prevent gauling and still be able to get the fitting apart.
