Your item is damaged = we replace it... its that simple. ;) With this case the vac has been picked up and a new one has been issued to ship today. This is the AUTOGEEK, we do not mess around, does not matter if UPS drops it or not, we are going to replace it. It's simple customer service! :D

Which is why AG gets so much of my money :) !

Things like this should be left off of the forum, IMO. This is why AG has a customer service phone number. If the OP didn't receive help after contacting AG by phone, then that is a different story (and obviously that wasn't the case).

At some point everyone will probably receive a package with damaged goods whether it's from AG or any other retailer. Most of the time it's probably damaged in shipping. Either way, it happens sometimes. Just like people aren't perfect, packages don't always get to you in the perfect condition. Knowing that AG has a great customer service track record, there's no reason why this couldn't have been handled by contacting AG via phone. No one comes on this forum to read about some one elses "damaged goods" problems. People come here to learn about and discuss detailing.

This is a great forum and when threads like this get started, there's nothing good that comes of it, especially when there are comments like "WTF are the pics blurry" in the thread. I would hope that in the future the OP and any others that have issues like this will take it up with AG by phone instead of posting it on here. There's just no reason to litter this forum with threads like this.

I do agree with you and I will tell everyone why. Although I check this forum off and on all day, I would be lying to say I have time to read each post. So if you are looking from help from me, call me. My signature has my direct ext. as does it also have a few different ways to contact me, phone, PM, email, and for some they just come to AG and stalk me (just bring dunkin with you!). :p But seriously posting in a thread is not the fastest way to resolve an issue, direct contact with me is. So if you have a problem, come to me with it, if you are looking for a fast resolution.;)

Well first of all, keep in mind i recived a damaged product, i paid and i didnt get what i paid for. I was just trying to inform, i think AG could have done a better job packing, i dont just want to call and talk to someone over the phone and let them know what happened, how do i know that he wont just forget about it in the next 3 seconds and no one ever finds out, atleast here it is on record and i am sure it will be seen. Now if UPS caused the majority of the damage like i think than UPS needs to grease the squeaky wheel.
O.K.... so now it sounds even more like the squeaky wheel syndrome. Sooo.... are you posting this on UPS's forum since you believe they caused the damage? You can type until your fingers are to the bone but AG won't alter UPS's decision making ability.

Ok, I would like to respond, if I may jump in here. First Vac n' Blows come to us "pre-packaged", we do not pack them Metro does. In my four years here I cannot ever remember one of these coming back damaged. Hey things happen! Metro's packaging has been working just fine for a long time considering how many vacs go out everday. So I doubt it was packaging, but regardless, we shipped it and we will stand behind it. You item is damaged = we replace it... its that simple. ;) With this case the vac has been picked up and a new one has been issued to ship today. :awesome::cheers::righton: good, because i dont mess around;) Thank you, you guys:righton::righton: this is going by faster than i though, which is a good thing! AG=Im the MAN

Any at AG. If you have access to any old Vac n Blow motors you can make a great auto drying blower. Vac motor + plastic gallon jug often fit perfect. Looks and works better than you can imagine. I learned the trick from an active 90 yr old that made them from discarded parts.

UPS has a forum?
Not that I'm aware of, this was in gest of course. :p Contrary to what you may perceive to be the tone of my posts, I am happy you have found resolution to your problem.

Nah, don't get me wrong I still believe that one call would have done it all (at least if you were calling Meghan). It often seems as if the wheels are turning too slowly when we await the arrival of a new purchase. I feel that way every time I order a gun. ;)

lets all agree to close this one as resolved ... Joy email me to reopen if Vac is missing or UPS boot kicks another 'round the ole truck !
