Many of you have seen first hand how this worked at AMVIV or at my weekend garage clinics.

Finally, OctaneGuy's latest invention to help everyone who uses a Porter Cable random orbital polisher, whether newbie or long time professional has just been released. The OneGrip is a die cut, hand-made in the USA, adjustable neoprene strap that lets the polisher become an extension of your arm. By transferring the weight of the machine off your fingers and wrist, you can polish with a relaxed hand and just focus on smooth, consistent, arm strokes for that show car finish. Especially useful on vertical panels where you must grip the PC harder against gravity, or long extensions where you are trying to reach deep across a long truck hood or roof and fear you might drop or let go of the PC, or even going as far to allow you to switch from your right hand to your left hand, the OneGrip provides greater security.

The OneGrip, the grip that let's you polish one handed, was designed to work with your grip. It doesn't force you to use any predetermined uncomfortable grip. Waxing is ultra quick and literally turns the PC into a palm sander. Whether you use a system like Meguiar's where you must apply 15 to 20 pounds of pressure or Prima where it's just the weight of the machine, the OneGrip makes polishing safer, easier, and faster with more confidence.

This video was created "on the fly" meaning this was a quick and dirty video and my voice wasn't originally meant to be heard--so don't strain trying to hear. I used captions to point out what I was talking about.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I can see an advantage on vertical panels.
Wonder what these are? : (includes PC Guard and two housing bolts to lose the PC rattle).

the PC guard (look above the backing plate) is to prevent accidently bumping into the paint, mirrors, etc... the housing bolts (right next to his thumb) is to secure/tighten the black plastic housing, so prevents it from rattling. if you want just the bolts, you can find them at the hardware store for less than a buck...

wonder if substituting a neoprene strap(like in most pharmacy depts) or ace wrap would work as well?

It might but I know the maker of this one went through 50 different designs though.

Have you got yours yet? How well do it work? One thing I saw was that it looks like your hand is limited and it covers the switch. Does look like it has it pros too

Oh, God, I don't want to even imagine what could happen if things go wrong while tool is attached to your hand with a strap. Whole idea and thought makes me very uncomfortable.

I was thinking the same thing!

^ I see where you are coming from BUT I dont see the PC being able to break /twist your wrist by means of a polishing pad-not 100% on that assumption though. I may be buying one soon.

No, but the possibilities of something going wrong because a buffer is literally attatched to your hand are endless. On top of that, imagine having to take the thing on and off every 5 minutes.

Advertising a product from a competitive site is in very poor taste.

I was in no means advertising this product. I just wanted to get AG's members insight on this. AG might even sell them one day.

That was all that I was doing.

Justin how do you like yours? Is it what you thought it to be? Whats you thoughts on it after a few uses? Thanks :)

Right....you just ordered one but were trying to sell your PC right on this site one day ago against all rules & common sense (ad since deleted). I had respect for you at one time but you have single handedly destroyed it. You also said you were leaving this site, that didn't happen either. Others have been kind here but in my eyes you have long overstayed your welcome. It will take a long time, if ever, to regain the trust and respect that you have shattered for myself and many others here and on other sites as well.

Good Day, I hope you get your life straightened out. I'll not acknowledge you again here or anywhere else.

I actually own 4 PCs, a UDM, two rotarys, and a Cyclo.

I deleted the ad. No mod asked me too. I did make a mistake in that. I have reassured by many others that I am still welcome here sir. I am glad however that the members here have you, the internet policeman. Since they are so ignorant and can't make assumptions on their own. Thank you for your contribution to the site. To bad it has nothing to do with detailing like 90% of my posts here.
