1) Is there a sneaky reason why Clay is advertised sometimes in Ounces and others in Grams?

I find it funny that AG is a US Site and sometimes has Metric weights attached to their Products. If they were all in one unit of measure, it would be easier to compare Products and see what you get for the Money.

I find the Clay that is sold using Grams and then converted to Ounces, to be a really small quantity (in Ounces) compared to the ones sold, actually using Ounces to begin with. Does anybody else notice this?

2) I've mentioned this before, but nothing ever happened with it... Ater you type an inquiry into "Search Listings", out comes a list of Products with multiple Page Numbers at the top right. Is there anyway that these Page Numbers could be at the bottom of the Page, as well?

Scrolling downwards and then having to go back up, just to click on the next Page, is a pain in the hiney.

P.S. By the way, I'm building my Shopping List... and I'm already at the $400 Dollar mark... and because I live in Canada, I like to create my Shopping List wisely, cause we don't get Free Shipping Deals up here.

I believe they post the type of unit that the brand uses which they are selling. I'd bet my bottom dollar it is nothing sneaky or deceptive about it. That's illogical to me. It is very easy to convert and if you don't have a little black engineers book there is a million woderfull sites that will convert it for you. Try this one or use google conversion

It would be nice to have those numbers at the bottom of the page as well. If you want feedback from AG I would call them or PM someone just to be sure they hear you. They might not see this. If I was to guess adding those numbers to the bottom of the page as well could possibly cause some dominoe effect that would mean they have to chang other things so there aren't any inerferences with how things work. On the other hand it might be a simple fix. They may have a web designer that is not in house and can not answer that question immediately. I'm not sure. Give them a call and let us know.

In the meantime you might experiment with the "right click" "open in new window" function. Instead of scrolling down first do a right click over page 2 of the pages which were produced. Then select open in new window. Now go back to the original window and do what you want to do. When you want to go to page 2 just click on the page 2 window you already made instead of scrolling up.

Sometimes some sellers will post the exact description found on the manufacturers website. Copy and paste. But I see your point, if your not careful, there could be a foul up. Generally speaking, 200 grams is equivalent to 7 oz's. Enough clay to split up into 4 equal pieces, but I'm sure you already knew that.

Well Hello, Why haven't you moved to Florida yet? :poke: :)

2003 GMC Denali I will see what we can do to make everything more universal. I do know that meguiars and mothers do measure their clay bars in grams. I will find out the answer and get back to you.

Agreed! This should be an easy change to the Web site.

Thanks for the comments. I didn't intend my original comments to be a slam against AG, but more of a curiosity of why certain products were sold in Grams and others, in Ounces.

For the Clay's that I converted from Grams to Ounces, it just seemed like you weren't getting very much per Dollar, compared to the ones sold in Ounces.

I have an On-line Metric Converter that I use quite a bit. I'm 50 years old and I remember the old days in Canada when we still had Ounces and Pounds and Miles... so that being said, its generally easier for us older people to make the conversion without Converters.

Up here, we buy our Gasoline in Liters, but still look for a Quart of Milk in the Grocery Store... so we are just as screwed-up, up here.

Jason, thanks for doing something about Quantities and the Page Numbering. Any idea how long that will take to do ?

Been to the grocery store lately? If not read some labels.......they might be in ounces, cups, or grams. Are they being sneaky? Hell no, it's the way the producer labels the product. Your suspicions are groundless here. This is like accusing American car Makers of being sneaky since they use metric bolts and nuts.....pointless.

You sound angry... Sorry about that, but maybe it's pointless for me to apologize to you.
