Looking to start blogging on my site. I posted my first article today. I could use some helpful hints and ideas if any of you know about blogging.

Thanks guys!

great! I think I show up higher in search results because i'm constantly adding to my blog. and it allows you to put up a lot more pictures of your work (beyond just a 'photos' page which may get cluttered if you post too much)

In my opinion, everything doesn't need to be long, or even that educational. I post a lot of photos with a little bit of education from time to time. And an occasional pop culture reference for fun. Thats about it. I really don't expect very many people to be following my blog religiously. Just another place for potential clients to see recent work, and get to know me a little better (establishing trust)

also, if you post recent work, you can notify the client who's worked you posted. High likelihood they'll show their friends or post it on facebook. somehow it will probably get you some more exposure from that existing client who's already happy with your work and driving around a shiny car.

Thanks! I hope to have the same results as you have been having.

Ahh it timed out on me at work but I do enjoy mine. I went through blogsuccessjournal.com they have some great tips on what plug-ins work and if you use it to make money via Google Adsense. I agree with Gurge posts don't have to be lengthy in our line of work. Clear and to the point with lots of pictures and descriptions help. Also before you publish a new post I copy what I wrote and share it in Show N' Shine on AG which saves me time. :)

I'll post on the blog and link it on FB. Also if I post on FB it automatically links on Twitter kind of an AIO ha!

I'll try to view it again when I get home...

That guy in the video is a numbskull(not the word I really wanted to use). He think it "Lools" good. He is going to have to do more to it than put another coat on it in three weeks.
