Just Starting Off Detailing. . . Help Please

Hey guy, I'm just starting my little detailing business. So far its just been friends and family and 1 outside client (which I've read is pretty normal so far). So my big question is how should I transport all my stuff? I want to look profesional, I have somewhat of a nice looking uniform I wear. I bought one of the autogeek.net bags and another one of the little canvas bags but its not nearly enough. Between all the microfibers, pads, buffer, products, metro-vac w/ attachments, ect. I just want to look organized. The other issue is I drive a 2007 Corolla :dblthumb2: so space is at a premium. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help! Feel free to throw out any other starting up tips :help:

I do mobile work out of my integra. I use a handful of plastic bins to carry most of my stuff. You would not believe how much i could cram in there now that i'm good at it

I have 1 for just spray bottles, 1 for pads / polish / lsp / brushes etc, 1 for microfiber. Plus a werner platform, square shop vac, steam cleaner (in the manufacturers box), PC, electric cord, 2 buckets. I can even get a pop up canopy in there. And i swear i still have a bit of space if needed

gotta use your head on how to load your car most efficiently. everything pretty much goes in the same place now when i roll. it looks like i live out of the car at the time. but it all fits. good luck

Same boat. I currently like a couple milk crates for the bottles and a larger Rubbermaid Action Packer tote for DA, pads and MFs. The lids on the Rubbermaid are helpful to hide clutter and keep leaves out of my MFs (GAAAA!)

Organization is a problem for me. Been thinking of separating out the equipment and chemicals into totes for wash, polish, dress. Or interior, exterior, polish. Not sure what will work better.
 
It had bob the builder and it said "Can we fix it?" and replied "No its F***ed" lol Thanks for all the help guys! I gotta go look for some good bins
 
Now I wanna see the avitar lol. Someone posted a while back that they actually use tool boxes and separate there interior and exterior supplies so they don't waste time looking for the stuff. Thought that was a great idea so I did that today. A lot of people detail out of their compact cars so it can be done. good call on the uniforms. We are an image business so you have to look the part. I use bins to separate my stuff. Your going to have to play around till you find the right combo. stay organized.good luck bud!
